While doing research I came across two different types of articles that are related to the field of marketing. The Media Research Blog, “Video advertising more lucrative than display ads” by Martha Stone was a blog post that showed and explained how video advertising units are considered to be far more valuable to publishers than premium display ads. Within the post she explains how and why that is happening through data given in a diagram. This diagram shows the cost of video advertising compared to the regular display advertising. It shows how and why video advertising has become so much more valuable in todays society and how the world of marketing is becoming more and more geared to online, social media, and more. For this article I would consider the audience to be anyone that is looking for data and or more information on numbers when it deals with video advertising compared to display advertising. This article was informal but was not written as a scholarly article.
The second article was “Marketing LR metro never easier for Chamber” by Mark Carter. This article was based upon the marketing experiences of a specific company. This article goes over the strategy, numbers, and results made by the company. "With our evolution in entrepreneurial, cultural, corporate, tech and residential growth, marketing metro Little Rock to prospective new businesses and talent has become much more dynamic," This was a statement made by the Regional Chamber President and CEO Jay Chesshir. The article goes over the statements made by Mr. Chesshir and explains the steps the company made with marketing/advertising. This articles audience is geared to anyone that wants to know more about marketing and what steps could be made to become successful with advertising. The article gives numbers and data that could be use when making marketing choices for your own benefit.
The two articles were different and has the same intended audience. The article by Mark Carter would be the information I would trust the most. His article gave us more concrete evidence and allowed the audience to see where he was getting his resources from. As the audience we would be able to look up the information given and in return see that the data given was correct
